Hi everyone. It's been ages since I've been her ethers been a lot of upheaval in my life. I lost my job a d my husband passed away so I've been pretty down and upset. It's nice to know I can always come her thanks Michelle As for my reading. I'm reading The Passage; Tiny Birds Fly Away and Life of Pi I. Also getting over a stomach virus so I haven't really read much this week
I'm actually afraid to count them I have about 150 I various places in my kindle , 6 in my pocketbook, around 50 in my bedroom and am absolutely clueless as to how many are in the shed or waiting for me when I finally get my stuff from my last job
Here are my top five of the year so far
The Artnof Racing In The Rain. Garth Stein
To Kill A Mockingbird. Harper Lee
Gone Girl Gillian Flynn
The Sandcastle Girls. Chris Bohijian
A Different Kind of Normal. Cathy Lamb
I use Amazon a lot and have never had any problems I look at the reviews only if I've heard about a book and want to find out more about it I love the Kindle selections for the most part but focus mostly on the free ones. I spent way too much money when I first got the Kindle so I need to be careful for awhile
I started this book with a lot of hope The firsts r&r of her journey was fine; the middle uninspiring and by the end I was struggling to finish it. Yes depression is terribly debilitating and hard to come out of. The book was just relentless
This is such a wonderful book that I recommend with all my heart. It's a story of a young woman who's hard a tough life but has a gift in instinctively knowing what flowers mean and the most appropriate flower for any situation. It's just a wonderfully written beautiful book
My favorite has become Katherine Center- I've read her first two books- Everyone is Beautiful and The Bright Side of Disaster- and am awaiting her third book Just Lucky from Amazon any day now- she write about women trying to juggle careers, motherhood and relationship issues and does it with a lot of humor and warmth
