i read both versions and the unabridged detailed the characters so deeply that it really made me feel their struggles and successes- this is by far my favorite stephen king book and if i can find it in the avalanche of books i have it just might be time for a reread-carm

welcome aboard babypink!! this is a really great place with lots of friendly people-i can't remember what series of books i read as a child- i just read books-now that i'm older im reading series-i'm almost finished harry potter, i read all the shopaholic books and will start lemony snickets sometime in the future- carm

i usually read on the subwat coming home...my favorite place though to read is nestled under my beloved's arm cuddled on the sofa- carm

i tend to forget things too... unless i really, really really enjoyed the book- carm

there could very well have been more- they were scattered all throughout the house, the shed, the garage...as of now since a lot of my books are in boxes i have no idea how many i do have- carm

hi and welcome to the forum- charles dickens' books are definitely not children's book- please dont feel stupid even if you do read children's books- harry potter started out under that heading and adults pushed the series into the best sellers list- books are to be treasured and loved no matter what category there placed in- so just enjoy... and again a great big welcome to the friendliest book club you will ever find anywhere- carm:mrgreen:
