Yay indeed! I've started my weekend and have just finished an awesome book (I cried ). A great start to the weekend, I think.

I'm afraid I don't like coffee at all. Please don't hate me for saying this , but I've been known to be outraged that good chocolate gets wasted when it's used on things like coffee beans and liquor (which I also dislike). I tend to like my chocolate pure. I hope we can still be friends.

Are you all packed up now? How many boxes of books do you have to move?

You're welcome. I remember seeing parts of your house when you posted Christmas pics last year, but I hadn't realised there were more to look at It really is a gorgeous and unique house. I could see myself living there comfortably! All of the colours and materials and...well, everything...just works together so well. You must feel so proud when you look around you at all you have achieved.

It's great to see you around the forum a bit more lately.

I taped a documentary on 'Being John Banville' last night; I always like to learn about the background of my favourite authors. And I finally ordered a copy of Ghosts which I'm hoping will arrive today. It's been far too long since I read either Nabokov or Banville. Have you read anything by the latter written as Benjamin Black?

I like your profile photo. You look very cool - just how I pictured you. (I hope that's not a weird thing to say .)

Oh, and after looking at your bookshelf pics (particularly the shelves built into the closet), I started measuring up my own wardrobes to see what I can do.
