You Really Got Me ~ The Kinks

chesilbeach - to stop coughing, put some vicks vap-o-rub on the bottoms of your feet.........seriously.
I'll third or fourth this suggestion. It sounds batty but really seems to work. I would put socks on as well ....stops the Vicks going all over the sheets and keeps it on your feet longer.

You introduced me to these books Poppyshake and I absolutely loved them too. I became fascinated with the Mitford sisters and went on to read a biography about them. A very interesting, eccentric family whose close association with Hitler was rather startling.

Oh Janet, I didn't take it as a telling off at all!
I'm quite happy for my post to go wherever it's most suitable

This is definitely on my re-read list. I first read it in my early 20's and thought it was absolutely magical. (Bright Eyes still brings a lump to my throat
)

I think my list is in the wrong place then
....is it possible to get it moved to the Challenge section, please?
-
So, where does "The Ocean At The End Of The Lane" fit in, in this challenge.
Thanks for the reminder Muggle!! I'd forgotten all about it. Have just placed a hold on it at my local library

Thanks for the good wishes everyone
It's not a list I'm going to tackle with any great haste, just one I'd like to work through. I may read an alternative book from some of the counties as some are quite difficult to find.
Good luck with the county challenge Poppy
You've made a big dent in it already
Are you planning any re-reads? or are you concentrating on fresh reads first? I will be joining you anyway in trying to cross some more of the list.
There's definitely some there I'd like to revisit Poppyshake, quite a few I've read several times aleady, but I'll try to read ones I haven't read first.
Good luck with the challenge!
Are you including books previously read in your list, or are these all books you've read as part of the challenge? If the latter, that's impressive going!
I'd love to impress you by saying I've read all these since the challenge started Willoyd, but alas my nose would probably grow longer or my pants catch on fire or some other dire comeuppance would befall me for telling tall stories.
These are just the ones I've read over the course of my reading life.
