  1. Excellent choice Xan If you haven't seen it get it....a lot of fun. Just been to cinema to see 'Whatever Works' (a Woody Allen), was OK, had its funny moments, but as usual a lot of deep stuff.

And so it starts Sedge.....Andy at the first night pre season training last night! Hardly seems anytime since they stopped. He actually went along to another team too last week. One of his lecturers at college plays for a local team similar standard to Glendale. But he has decided tomorrow to go along for another training sessin with them and say he wants to stay with his old club.
  5. Oh my...yes I am on Book Readers forum, but I have not been on there for ages. What is your name on there. I had to check out where you meant and have it in my faves under 'book stuff'. I always log on here though. Much more active.

  6. Just passing by to say hello as I saw you post on my post as it were. Hope you are enjoying the site.

Well the final came and went and I thought it was a bit one sided. Poor guy couldn't do a thing against the 'on form' Nadal. Well worth being the top in the world.
  8. Blast from the past...flicking through the Sky channels and on CBS drama.....The Thorn Birds...I remember watching it with my mum and reading the book.
  9. Hubby had some Waterstones gift cards to spend and with the holidays coming up needs some reading material to take with him. He managed to get his 3 for 2 (but managed 4 as one of the offers had two books together). It only took him about 5 minutes. I was impressed I had a look , saw a couple I may have bought, but restrained myself and came away with nothing. I did write a couple of titles down though. So have you gone in to a bookshop browsed and managed not to purchase anything or does impulse and necessity take over?

    World Cup 2010

Well done Germany..didn't think it would be so one sided! But absolutely gutted for Ghana last night so close and yet so far in the end. Close thing in the Spain game too with those pens that were saved. Still wouldn't like to choose the winner!
