  6. Shelter In the Rain - Stevie Wonder
  7. Midnight in Montgomery - Alan Jackson (wife and I were driving through Montgomery, Alabama at midnight on our way to Southern Alabama where our son had been in an auto accident when they played this song by Alan Jackson. Song is about Hank Williams and his presence still existing in Montgomery. Was a really weird feeling. )
  8. Now Is the Hour - Vera Lynn (that song will take you back a few years) 🙂
  9. 20. Little White Lies - Ace Atkins (who took over the Robert Parker series when parker died) 4/5 - Robert Parker was one of my favorite writers of Detective stories and Ace Atkins is doing a good job of continuing the series. Little White Lies features P.I. Spenser and his sometime sidekick Hawk. Together they are a duo that takes on the toughest criminals.

  21. If you look closely at this link you will see that you can find the Top 10 songs for any year from the 30's thru the 20's. Also, the popular artists for each year. Birthdays for forum members are more difficult to find. 😄
  22. If You've Got the Money, I've Got the Time - Lefty Frizzell
  23. 19. flags on the Bayou - James Lee Burke - 4/5 - Good book. The prose was excellent, and Burke thinks this was his best book. I think it was his best writing but not necessarily his best book. The story takes place in Louisiana during the civil war era and shows the cruelty that took place of both sides in the war.
  24. Rock Around the Clock - Bill Haley and the Comets
  25. To Be Alone With You-- Bob Dylan
