I gave my notice at work last week while I was in Charlotte on business. November 16 th will be my last day of full time employment and then I will work 18 hours a week until January 11, 2013. Then I am going into retirement , again.

I started a re-read of The Hobbit, however, I found it difficult reading the papreback (although I read it the first time with no problem )instead, Ii put in a request at the library for the kindle edition and will wait until it is available

lucky you. I had my usual bowl of cereal. I Mix Post Corn Chex with Kelloggs Crunchy Nut and then put a few spoonfuls of fruit cocktail on it and then Vanilla Soy Milk. I can't eat grapefruit for breakfast as I am on Cardizem, a heart medication. Mixing Cardizem with grapefruit is a no-no.

If a person uses everything that comes with prime, it is an excellent deal. I have a Kindle Fire and love it..It is great to have almost instantaneous delivery. the biggest benefit for me is the ability to download books from the library at no cost. I have read both and my preference is "IT". However, there are many fans of King I am sure that will recommend Under the Dome. I enjoyed both books but "IT" was my favorite of the two.

On the other hand, I admire her for publishing under her own name and taking the chance that it could be criticized. She certainly doesn't need the money. Publishing under another name would have been a way to go unrecognized if the book was a failure and if it was a hit she could then take credit. I give her kudos for not being afraid of publishing under her own name.

As I stated elsewhere, "IT" is one of my favorite Stephen King books. btw, for all the stephen King fans, I have changed my photo. It is a painting that was done by my cousin.

"IT" is one of my favorites.My wife and I travel some in Maine and there is one town we went through that reminded me of "IT" and, LOL, I was glad to get out of the town. I had goose bumps.

I surely hope that it is a long novel. I love long novels when well written, i.e. Stephen King, Edward Rutherfurd, Harry Potter series, etc.

It is a short race that have the Nascar driver's wifes/girlfriends racing in the cars. They call it a powder puff race. this is an awesome race track. I will have to wear my Dale Earnhardt, jr ball cap.

I will be in Charlotte, NC all next week on business.
