    I started reading this on Project Gutenberg today as I was off work (hurrah!). Now I know it was written over a hundred years ago, but it is pretty.. erm... well, racist, sexist, pretty-much-anything-else-ist... Take, for example, "Tiger-Tiger". Am I just being a grump? OK then, what about The White Seal? I'm pretty sure I'm not just imagining this... I'm going to carry on reading the full book tonight.

    I love these books - my library has quite a few and once I started reading them I read the lot. I think there's a new one due out soon (they normally come out in the summer, don't they?).

    Looking forward to the interviews this week. I'm not sure how well Claire will stand up if I'm honest. Mind you, I'm sure it will be better than Lucinda. This is always the episode that makes me cringe in horror...

    This took me by surprise as well, especially as E4, when they showed the last episode on Saturday or Sunday (can't remember which) showed the trailer for the next episode. What's going on? Shame too, since the trailer looked very funny...

    Admittedly I only saw the last ten minutes of last night's episode, but... Can't believe Michael has lasted ANOTHER week! Glad to see that Siralan is wising up to Claire - he pulled her last night on why she doesn't intervene when she supposedly sees things going wrong. Looking forward to the repeat on sunday:)

    I got the first ten Agatha Raisins towards the end of last year and I was completely hooked. I've just finished the Curious Curate, so the Haunted House will be next.

    That was the main reason for trying it to be honest - I wanted a mousse I could serve to a pregnant friend which basically ruled out any of the egg-based ones. It was a very happy find:mrgreen:
