I have just checked Amazon and my Raven Hart books are supposed to arrive on Monday. I can't wait to be back with the characters either. I started the first one the day Katie was born last year and read it at night while feeding her.

I watched The Old Curiosity Shop at christmas. It is a fascinating story.

It does sound depressing, but also intriguing. Has anyone read it or got it?

I had a hardback Noddy book when I was little, but probably not as old as that. It is now in Katie's room. I remember all my favourite books from being very small, but the only time I actually remember reading is in school.

Kitty that sounds wonderful. I was hoping to make the box room into a nursery, and also have a nice quiet corner for my bean bag and maybe a few other things, so that I can have a nice place to escape to, but OH has just filled it with furniture from the spare room, which he is turning into an office! I was the one who cleared all the junk out of the box room in the first place! Oh well, maybe he will eventually move the furniture out, but the baby will need its own room at some point, and OH has three gentlemen's rooms already.

I have a few folio books, and I have purposely bought Harry Potter adult hardbacks, but I do not have any collectors editions.

I received a book token for Amazon for completing a survey so I ordered this and The Vampire's Kiss.

Fireball is that pic really necessary? I have ben scared by a few books, but I am not sure I can remember the titles, apart form one or two Harry potter books the first time I read them. I am just far too sensitive, as you can see.

This is so difficult! I read so many great books last year. I think I will have to go with those that have had the most effect on me. The best books I read last year Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows - J.K Rowling The Vampire's Seduction - Raven Hart The Mist Over Pendle - Robert O'Neill Worst Book The Book of the Courtier - Baldesare Castiglione (Seeing as it has taken me about, what, 3/4 months to complete a 344 pg book! Although there are some very good points in the book ad it has some good historical/cultural aspects and I do recommend it.) Best Discovered Author Raven Hart Terry Pratchett

It is a shame there is not much information in the book. It would be good to learn why she didn't want to see her parents and what happened there, and what she wants out of life, and what she feels about the experience.

I want to mae more time for reading, though with two young children, that may not be possible. If I can achieve that then I also want to join in more reading circles. If I am not too interested in the choice then I want to use that month to catch up on a previous circle.

I am pleased that I have found a few knew authors this year, and also bought a few books that i would not have bought before, but the last few months have not been good for my reading mojo.

I have a few new things I bought last year that I want to get to this year.

I like to read anything that is suggested to me. I will soon know if I like it or not, although there are certain things I go for more, like fantasy, or certain authors I have read before. I will always read a recommendation.

Yes! In the past i have read a few Grisham's, but i got bored with them. I also had a few as a child such as Enid Blyton. More recently I have been busy trying knew things with my reading, but I have come to know authors that I want to do this with. I want all Tolkien's books. I love J.K Rowling, and also want to get the rest of Raven Hart's books.

I read Cold Mountain last year, but have not read the other book. What is the comparison about?
