I'm afraid I've been guilty as charged since I was a small child. I collected all of Enid Blyton. Now it is:-- Phili[[a Gregory CJ Sansom Jean Plaidy Jodi Picoult Jane Austen Thomas Hardy (the novels) Jeanne Kalogridis.......................................etc etc Just 2 authors have to be bought on day of publication - CJ Sansom. (Next one due out this year) and Philippa Gregory. This is non negotiable !!! -

Are you pleased with what you've read in 2007?
Angel replied to Maureen's topic in General Book Discussions
It's been a good year for reading. I've read some lovely books - I only wish that there had been time for more! I've just started my 75th book of the year -
Hello and welcome - hope you enjoy it here!
-
DH and the kids totally loved this years special. It was very touching in places
-
Enjoy that one Louise! Whilst not her best - it still cuts a good read
-
Moving onto Tracy Chevalier - Burning Bright
-
Do you ever get stressed by your TBR pile?
Angel replied to ~Andrea~'s topic in General Book Discussions
I don't get stressed about my TBR pile. I panic if it starts dropping down to about 50. I regard my TBR pile as my backup as well for when I run out of library books! -
Well into Nicci French - Secret Smile
-
I blame you for the Matthew Bartholomew series!!! They are very good and I'm now looking out for them in the librar - a very good recommendation Louise!!!
-
I don't like to set any limits on how much I read a day, although I like to read at least 50 pages a day. Yesterday I read 186 pages where as the day before I was soooo tired I struggled to get to 20!! I don't like books lasting more than 4 / 5 days max though. I like to read for the pure enjoyment and using a maximum limit would make it more of a chore.
