  9. I have avoided the Life of Pi and I think that you have confirmed my initial thoughts on it Liz. I won't rush to order this from the library I think

    Hello

Hello and welcome - hope you enjoy it here!
  17. DH and the kids totally loved this years special. It was very touching in places
  18. Enjoy that one Louise! Whilst not her best - it still cuts a good read
  19. Moving onto Tracy Chevalier - Burning Bright
  20. I don't get stressed about my TBR pile. I panic if it starts dropping down to about 50. I regard my TBR pile as my backup as well for when I run out of library books!
  21. Well into Nicci French - Secret Smile
  22. I blame you for the Matthew Bartholomew series!!! They are very good and I'm now looking out for them in the librar - a very good recommendation Louise!!!
  23. I don't like to set any limits on how much I read a day, although I like to read at least 50 pages a day. Yesterday I read 186 pages where as the day before I was soooo tired I struggled to get to 20!! I don't like books lasting more than 4 / 5 days max though. I like to read for the pure enjoyment and using a maximum limit would make it more of a chore.
  24. Sausages and mash
  25. Now reading Jean Plaidy - The Italian Woman
