  1. If we were to meet, I will bring over some local things.
  2. I love it too (unfortunately!). It is esp delicious in summer, bought when till hot, with fresh tomatoes smeared on top , olive oil, salt and pepper, near the sea! It is one of my sins! Only drawback is you have to buy it fresh everyday, as it does not keep.
  3. Do you realise how we stopped posting here after all the food we ate during the festivities?
  4. Do not like them much.

  6. ...have put one theory to the test....and it worked out fine. hmmm
  7. The bear in cave theory will happen to everyone I guess, from time to time - at least it happens to me! (When I hibernate for a bit) But it is not an every week occurance! Don't get me wrong, I am finding this book an interesting read, just do not agree with all the stuff I am reading!
  8. Well to tell you the truth, although I agree with some reasonings and things the author is describing, other things sound silly to me.
  9. Oh thanks! With P Cornwell, I started in the middle of the series, and then read them all jumbled up! It mixed me up a bit! Kathy Reichs I managed to read in chronological order, and it is so much better!
  10. Hope you do well! Good Luck!
  11. Just the book if you feel off colour - not too taxing. hope u feel better very soon Kell.
  12. Nope never tried her before. Another one to look out for then. Thanks a lot for the suggestion Inanna.
  13. That is very tough. Obviously if someone puts the question to a parent, the first thing that pops into their head is - I would do anything. BUT...would you commit murder? Would you kill someone for their organs? Where would you draw the line?
  14. Ok..have read the reviews on Amazon. I think I would like this book. I read about this subject, which is highly controvesial, in a couple of non-fiction books. Can see why it is being so popular - highly controvesial subject, with no clear cut 100 % right or wrong issues.
  15. What genre is it?
  16. This has been popping up quite a lot.
  17. Still have Lord of the Flies.
  18. Gosh, Macbeth was very popular.
  19. I don't think I have ever done that....if they are both new, and I start with one, I think I would continue with it first.
  20. I certainly do not agree with everything the author says in his book about men and women... he has every base covered, as he goes on to explain how women may identify with male characteristics and vice versa. Some theories seem too far fetched to me, but some others are interesting.
  21. I just remembered two more we had at school, " The nun's priest tale", and Silas Marner. Anyone had/read them?
  22. I used to keep them all.....now I have to share my space, I cannot do so anymore. (Apart from the fact that they were getting out of hand!)
  23. We have a saying over here - and roughly translated it goes something like this. "Children - when little, they give you headaches, when older they give you heartaches" I used to wonder why ....now I have an idea.
  24. Maureen

    My Town

Gosh..someone must have gotten grief over that!
