  1. Currently reading The Turn of the Screw: The Original 1898 Unabridged and Complete Edition, Henry James.
  2. May I suggest that you read the Acknowledgements at the end of the book? I found them very interesting (not all thank-yous, btw). I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did and look forward to your review.
  3. Currently reading Fyneshade, Kate Griffen
  4. Currently reading Dreams of Fire, Shauna Lawless. A novella set a century before her Children of Gods and Fighting Men, first book in her Gael Song Series.
  5. I hope so too MN. I loved it, the story gets better and resolves beautifully.
  6. I'm offering The Warm Hands of Ghosts by Katherine Arden as a read in this category. Part of it is set in winter and one of the characters is called Winter. Does that qualify?
  7. Clive Cussler is deceased (in 2020) so can't deny or verify.
  8. That is bizarre. I hope that you enjoy it. Mine too.
  9. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Set in WW1
  10. It's very good. Set in World War 1
  11. Currently reading The Warm Hands of Ghosts by Katherine Arden
  12. Sorry, I missed this. No, not read yet. Will let you know, though

  15. These are amazing, Kev.
  16. Oh good, I do like books like that. Yes, I saw that and passed on by.
  17. I looked at that one but decided against it. It being YA makes sense from the prose that I read and yes, that theme would be too dark for YA, as for me ……….. well perhaps, I don't know. Only way to find out is that I read it but have chosen a different one so happy with that.
  18. Loved The Sanatorium!
  19. I bought this but don't know if it's the one you read because there are several books called The Winter Garden on Amazon. I chose the one written by Nicola Cornick.
  20. I've finished this, it's only 103 pages long. Excellent stuff.
  21. I have no idea! ETA Yes, it is.
  22. Currently reading The Frozen Deep by Wilkie Collins. It's tremendous!
  23. Great review, Hux
