Not long until 2015/2016 season kicks off on the 8th August, can't wait. Hope it's an exciting title race with plenty of drama and Manager meltdowns Bet Fred, I've missed you
Serena dodging questions is not an issue for me, I don't care. I'd be bored with the same 3 questions every interview too. I'm more interested in seeing some personality and character that doesn't just involve making a fist and growling ( Murray) and some good natured sarcasm/humour when interviewed. Hopefully some new blood will come along soon and dare show their true colours without getting berated by the media and public as soon as they do/say something that doesn't suit.
That's right chesilbeach, I can remember Student, Rural,,Senior, Staff and Visiting. Wow, didn't expect such a quick reply as they were first published in the 1930's!
i was ill for most of my childhood and spent weeks on end indoors. My mums friend gave me her daughters Sue Barton Nursing series by Helen Doyle Boylston. I read them over and over until the pages were dropping out. It would be nice to say i was inspired to become a nurse but even as a child knew it wasn't for me (needle phobia!)
Did anyone else read these books? They were dated way back then but i loved them.
I'm all for 'characters' in sport but I think those days are long gone. Times have changed, one unguarded throw away comment, taken out of context, can hound them for the rest of their career. If I were a top level tennis player/athlete i'd fix on my interview smile and get on with trying to win something. Why give Journalist low-life ammunition?
I would love to be a great dancer also. If I was A LOT younger Break Dance would be my choice, so clever. This of course being in my fantasy world where I would be too cool for school and not have gammy knees!
I'm counting down the days till the football season starts, love it, but just can't get interested watching women play. I don't know why, something just doesn't sit right with me. That said I'm pleased they did so well.

Years ago I saw an Anne Bancroft interviewed (in her 70's) She was only 36 when she starred in The Graduate but felt old and past her best. She said she wished she had realised then how young and beautiful she was instead of wasting time feeling depressed about getting old. I try to remember that every time I have a 'moment' about my age.
I often wish I had a special talent or 'gift'. Not having an artistic bone in my body I would love to be able to draw and paint and can spend hours in galleries staring open mouthed at the works of art. What would your gift be?
Well, now George Clooney has taken himself off the market hopefully enjoying spoiling some Grandchildren with my hubby and visiting the places on my Bucket List.
Is there any need for it? Settled down to watch some tennis on the opening day of Wimbledon and after just four games had to turn her off. Every single shot was accompanied by an ear-splitting scream/grunt. Ridiculous!
All I remember about watching films with my parents is the toe-curling embarrassment when from out of nowhere sex started! I'm sure it wasn't every film but it sure did seem like it. I best add I mean the actors, not my parents
