Nightwish Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I can't remember either, but I do remember after the fight (I think!) he was singing the Voldy song Quote
Nicola Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Oh yeah! That rings a bell! I can't imagine him just sitting back and watching all the potential mischief pass him by! haa!! Quote
Nightwish Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I can imagine him setting up traps Home Alone style Quote
Lucybird Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 yes I can imagine that, I can't remember him being mentioned though Quote
MissWhitlock Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I remember this! (For once!) I remember he was running around throwing water balloons at everyone... And...*tries very hard to remember* and... I just KNOW he was in it! And I liked everyone contributing to the fight. Especially the teachers. And Neville lobbing some plants at the Death Eaters. Forgot what EXACTLY he lobbed though. Quote
BookBee8 Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Aw, I really need to re-read these soon, I've forgotten too much. Quote
MissWhitlock Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Yeah, me too. I've already read the 5-7th ones 4 times already and I STILL can't remember much.. Oh, Kreacher was definitely a laugh in the 7th ones. How he was offering them Steak Kidney Pie or something like that I miss the 7th book! *sniff* I miss Fred! FREDDDD!! Why did he have to die!? It was so tragic! And Lupin and Tonks! THEY LEFT POOR TEDDY ALONE!!! *breaks down* And DOBBY! *sniff* WHY, JKR, WHY!! okay, I'm calm now.. Quote
BookBee8 Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I've only read the last one once. I've actually forgotten who dies in it.. Quote
MissWhitlock Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Like, everyone. Nah, I'll refresh your memory, I know pretty much everyone who died in it, I spent so long mourning over them. *sniff* There was Colin Creevey (i'm not sure if the other creevey died), Hedwig, Mad Eye, Fred, Lupin and Tonks, Dobby, Snape...*sniff* oh gosh, snape... *deep breaths* mkay. er, Bellatrix.. Crabbe or Goyle i can't remember. I don't think any of the teachers died. Apart from Snape and that girl from Muggle Studies, that is. Yeah, that's about all I can remember. It was so sad, there were like, 50 people dead. Quote
Lucybird Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I've only read the 7th twice I guess now it's over I'm less compelled to re-read because I can't search for meaning and stuff so much Quote
BookBee8 Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Awwh no! I forgot Snape, Hedwig and Colin Creevey died! Quote
MissWhitlock Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Yeah, it's pretty sad. :'( DOBBY! he was.. so.. loyal.. to harry... *sniff* And..harry *sniff* Dug.. his grave and stuff *sniff* OH I cant take this no more!! Quote
BookBee8 Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Yeah, I remember about Dobby because I adored him. Aww Quote
MissWhitlock Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I know! He was such a great House elf. He was so LOYAL to harry! And I miss his Hats and socks! Quote
lexiepiper Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I was really sad when Dobby died too, other than that the saddest deaths for me were Fred, Lupin and Tonks Quote
MissWhitlock Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I really bawled my eyes out when Fred died. I was like, NO. NOO! THIS CAN'T HAPPEN!!! NOOOOO! And when Harry walked in the Great Hall and he just saw the whole Weasley family crowded around Fred.. and George's head was resting on something. *sniff*. And Mrs Weasly was bawling her eyes out. And yeah, when he walked in the Great Hall, he just saw Lupin and Tonks lying there. I had to put down the book to help me calm down. And of course. Snape. "Expecto Patronum!" "All this time?" "Always." Or something like that. I cried.. So bad! Quote
lexiepiper Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Yeah it was surprisingly sad, and I'll be honest I didn't expect so many of them to die Quote
MissWhitlock Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Yeah, me either! She just said 3 major ones would, and I didn't expect like, 50. It was uncalled for. Quote
lexiepiper Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Yeah I definitely agree, and I think that Tonks and Lupin was harsh, leaving little baby Teddy Quote
Chrissy Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Yeah I definitely agree, and I think that Tonks and Lupin was harsh, leaving little baby Teddy I think JKR wanted to carry on the 'tradition' of parentless children - also I think she felt it would be too neat if only peripheral characters died, although I think she realised that she would be lynched if any of the trio perished! Quote
MissWhitlock Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Yup, she will be hunted by fans worldwide. Tonks and Lupin were a VERY good couple, I really liked them, so I was really really upset when they died Imagine if Hagrid died. That would be just.. That would be HORRIBLE. That's like two Dobbys dying! Quote
Chrissy Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I like how you equated that one! X2 of one makes X1 of the other! Quote
Nightwish Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 It was! I demand that she rewrites them so we can live in a world full of Dobby's socks! Quote
Kimmy619 Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 It was! I demand that she rewrites them so we can live in a world full of Dobby's socks! I cried when I read that bit in the book. I really didn't expect it! I was glad that I was on my own at the time.... Quote
Nightwish Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I was sitting on my bed reading it while my brother was on my pc, I was in tears but luckily he wasn't paying any attention Quote
