Jade32 Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Hi Just joined today, I'm Jade mum to 6 children between the ages of 12 and 7 months. When I have a spare minute I love to read. Into all sorts, at the moment I am reading My Cousin Rachel - Daphne du Maurier and also A Suitable Boy - Vikram Seth. Not sure what else to put at the moment so will go and have a nosy around. Bye for now Quote
frankie Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Hello and welcome to the forum! I loved My Cousin Rachel, I hope you enjoy it Quote
Jade32 Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 Thanks, I am loving it so far, hoping to read Rebecca at some point too. Quote
chesilbeach Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Hi Jade! I can't imagine you get many spare moments with six children to look after! I loved A Suitable Boy when I read it, although I remember the hardback version was very heavy to lift - are you enjoying it? Quote
dawnbirduk Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Hi Jade, welcome, you do have your hands full Quote
Jade32 Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 I always make time for a good book! Liking A suitable Boy so far, so many characters though, hoping I don't get confused with them all. Only 100 pages in so lots of time to figure them all out. Quote
LittleW Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Welcome to the forum, Jade. I read Rebecca and I liked it. 6 children sounds like a full time job. Quote
plasticrosaries Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 My Cousin Rachel is one of my favourite books of all time and definitely up there with my top du Maurier reads! x Quote
