Janet Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Has anyone else seen the Limited Edition designer Puffins? The one linked, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, is my favourite. If you scroll down you'll see the others. They're very pricey, at £100, and sadly out of my league. Dahl's James and the Giant Peach is already sold out. Quote
Raven Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I think Penguin have been doing this recently as well, I know my local Waterstones has had hardback versions of some older novels going for £40-50. It's a nice idea, but you would really have to like a book to buy one of these versions (or be a collector looking to invest!). Quote
Kell Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I love the simplicity of the Around The World In 80 Days by Jules Verne - it's so beautiful! Quote
Lucybird Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Oh wow they're beautiful. I like The Secret Garden best too, no chance you could ever read it though. Quote
Weave Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 (edited) They are all so pretty, especially 'Around The World In 80 Days' by Jules Verne, the design appeals to me Edited September 3, 2010 by Weave Quote
