That "What if...?" Thread

This a very simple game that lets your imagination run wild. The first person asks a "What if...?" question about anything they want. The next person answers the question however they like. It can be seriously, or the answer could be way out there if you like. The possibilities are limitless. :mrgreen:Then the one that answered asks their own "What if...?" question for the next person.

 

Here we go!

 

What if I don't exist?

What if it was always night time?

Then sunglasses would have never been invented.

 

What if geese did lay golden eggs?

Then you wouldn't want to rely on goose eggs to go with your bacon.

 

What if the world was flat?

Then we'd all fall off the edges when we went too far abroad!

 

What if books had never been invented? (horror of horrors!)

Then religion wouldn't cause so much trouble. No books, no Bible etc.

 

 

What if we had wings?

then airlines would all go bust !

 

what if people would stop thinking even for a moment and their minds were completely still and empty ?

The we would have reached enlightenment.

 

What if the world really ends in 2012?

Then new ways of being would become a reality for us all.

 

What if animals could speak?

We could all learn a thing or two.

 

What if we could have anything we wanted?

Then nobody would be happy, because they'd have nothing to compare hapiness to in contrast.

 

What if we had the ability to manipulate time and soace?

Then I would have all the time I needed to read and all the space to store my books.

 

What if eternity ends?

The the concept of eternity will change.

 

What if I'll never find the best book in the world?

Then you will keep looking and reading and finding the best 'ones' ~ that's what we are doing anyway isn't it? (well it justifies my book buying anyway. )

 

What if we suddenly lost all technology?

Then I wouldn't be able to post and chat with the delightful people on this forum.

 

What if 6 is actually 9?

Then there is going to be some serious trouble as far as mathematics are concerned.

 

What if people could fly?

They would probably be a lot happier with a sense of freedom and distance.

 

What if we all lost the ability to read?

Animals might be treated with the respect they deserve 'Yo biatch, FEED ME, aight?' Okay that cat has a cool accent. Yes it's a cat, don't question it.

 

What if I ruled the world?

Oscar Wilde and Mika would be declared Gods and you would demand that everyone sat around a table and came up with some excellent strategies to end all war, hunger and disease. Also everyone who irritated the hell out of you would be sent to live together on an island. Am I anywhere close?

 

What if overnight we all changed gender?

If we all changed gender, I'd thrown on jeans and a t-shirt and go try out peeing standing up

 

What if women had been the dominant gender through the ages in Western society, rather than men?

Are you saying we didn't? I thought we were all just being real subtle about it!

I mean when they couldn't vote, work certain jobs (still can't, really, due to stigma) etc.

 

When I think of women being in control I think of those freaky tribes with warrior women
