I did a quick listen to Mumford & sons album Babel. The Boxer was the stand-out. Probably because I am in love with that song.

Also grew up with some Art & Garfunkel. Since my first name is Cecilia, you can guess which song of theirs that a lot of people sing to me when they want to be "cute". ;)

Edit: Duh! Simon & Garfunkel of course. Where's my head?

Surprised? LOL. Why? That I have awesome taste in music? ;) I always say I have the widest taste in music ever.

Liked Cash for years. He's got such an amazing voice.

He recorded an album in a Swedish prison once. Österåker prison. Check it out. ;)

I checked it out....nice.

Here is one by john Anderson - "Swinging".

John Anderson also has a unique voice and I like his music. I called into a radio show years ago when this song was popular and requested the song. They announced that "Swinging has been requested and when they went to play the song the station blew the transformer....:) The next night they played it and announced my request.

I'll let you off - just this once :giggle2:;)

I grew up listening to Simon & Garfunkel, cos my mum was always playing their records. They're the only music we ever agreed upon  The Boxer has always been my favourite, too, so anyone else attempting to sing it goes straight to the top of my 'want to kill' list :giggle2:

Best I don't tell you how my girlfriend and I used to belt out Simon and Garfunkel songs accompanied by our guitars or I'll be top on your hit list :out:

You weren't recording it and making money off it, though . . . were you?? :giggle2:

But you weren't as loud with the singing as when you sang...."She Wore an Itsy-Bitsy-Teeny-Weeny-Yellow-Polka-Dot-Bikini". :)

Good heavens, no!! Any money changing hands would have been to shut us up :D

(actually my friend was pretty good, she went on to sing in a band with her husband)

I had my best out-of-tune voice on for that one, Muggles :giggle2:
