Inver Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Ooooo..this looks like it is going to be good. The whole world having a flash forward and remembering what they did, but what is the connection to it all. Did anyone else watch this new series on Five Have to try remember Monday evenings at 9pm now! Quote
MuggleMagic Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I watched it. OMG it was fantastic! It is made by the same people that created Lost - did anybody notice the Oceanic billboard?? I can't wait until Mondays now Quote
Chrissy Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 How have I managed not to hear about this? *marches off to sort video to tape it!* Thanks Inver, looks good! Quote
Michelle Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Argh - I missed it! Does Five have their programmes online? Quote
Fi. Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Yep, they do - go their website and look for the OnDemand section, they should have it online there I watched and absolutely loved it, can't wait for next week! Quote
lexiepiper Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I watched too and really thought it was good, I was also really shocked because the first ep only aired in America last week, so for once we're not behind! Hurrah! Quote

Hurrah! I know, that shocked me as it's most unusual - looking forward to seeing what sort of character Jack Davenport is going to play. Quote
bigmac Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 This really is a fantastic show, I would have missed it but for somebody recommending it to me. I cannot wait until Monday to see the next episode. Well done channel five Quote
Kylie Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I think it was on last night here and I missed it. But I've set it to tape it next week. Quote
blithe Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I saw this show last week and I really liked it. I missed the Oceanic billboard though...which is surprising, since I'm such a Lost fanatic. Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I recorded it and I'm looking forward to watching it Quote
Inver Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 Wish it had been a special double episode though Quote
SueK Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I meant to see this but I wanted to watch part 2 of Waking the Dead as well. I guess I'll have to go to Demand Five later on. Quote
Heather Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I meant to see this but I wanted to watch part 2 of Waking the Dead as well. I guess I'll have to go to Demand Five later on. Same here but next week I will have 3 programes all on at the same time:lol: Quote
Ernie Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I missed it too. Found it: http://demand.five.tv/Series.aspx?seasonBaseName=FlashforwardSeason1 Quote
Mia Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I watched it and I'm in two minds about it so far. It was good, but not as good as it could have been, or perhaps as good as I expected. I didn't really warm to the characters, and yet we had very little time after being introduced to them before everything kicked off, so it made it a bit difficult to care about what they saw. I guess you could say it was the same in Lost, but I got straight into that and cared about them all straight away, so ... My major gripe was with the mumbling delivery of the main male character - I missed half of what he said. Some of it was intriguing, and I felt sorry for the guy who didn't see anything, and suspects that might be because he's dead in six months' time. Aww. I'm sure the programme will grow on me, like The Mentalist did. Quote

Mysterioso Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I'm a bit undecided about it but thought it was a v. clever premise for a story. SFX were impressive, the plot had me intrigued but unfortunately the intermittent great dollops of schmaltz , that US TV series seem unable to do without, did mar my viewing somewhat. Will watch the 2nd episode though but one scene with winsome, bland stereotypical American kid or excessive use of tedious 'emotion -filled' piano music and I'm off!!! Quote
Lucybird Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I watched this yesterday having taped it. I quite enjoyed it. Saw some similarities to Lost without even knowing it's made by the same people Quote
lexiepiper Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I'm already thinking ahead to what could be the cause of the black out, anyone have any ideas? Quote
lexiepiper Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Just found that the book releases today, so tempted to read it to find out what causes it all! Quote
Michelle Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Is that a re-release of the existing book, or a new one? I've read about the existing book, and most people have said that there are already difference, so they doubt the cause will be the same. Quote
