Weave Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 It had me laughing too. It happened to show up in the fire of a video editor hmmm What are the chances Quote
Nollaig Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 A spiritualist video editor at that! I'll never forget the time Mary (I think) showed up in a tree-stump somewhere in Ireland, and while the religious nation went nuts, the local priest said something to the effect of, 'sure tis only a tree'. Weave Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 I probably shouldn't laugh, but he was laughing himself, so....BAHAHA! I would FREAK if a pelican came after me. Sorry to invade your post Noll, I would too, I am terrified of birds, and that big old pelician would freak me out, I did, however, I did have a mega laughing fit at the video Quote

Chrissy Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 18? What a dreadful time she must have had. I'm glad it worked out in the end. Quote
Nollaig Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Sheesh.... 18? How could anyone bear to keep trying that long without seeking help? Quote
pipread Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 What a beautiful, very special baby, it`s nice to read a story with a happy ending. Quote
pipread Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Also, she's from Peacehaven. Assuming that's the 'outside Brighton' Peacehaven, I have family there. Which is irrelevant, I know. Peacehaven is also close to where I live, also irrelevant but it`s a small world eh? Quote
Nollaig Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 So irrelevant I then deleted my post, but anyway It's a lovely little place though. Quote

BigWords Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 E-book pricing makes an appearance on the BBC's dot.Rory technology blog. Oh, and if you have any aches and pains don't take your doctor's word for what's wrong. Demand a specialist. Quote
AbielleRose Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 This is so sad. http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/02/24/killer.whale.trainer.death/index.html?hpt=T2 Quote
Kell Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 It's very sad, but if people would get it out of their heads that these animals are there to perform for our amusement, rather than being the wild animals they actually are, this would never happen. I've never liked the idea of these shows, to be honest. Any show that involves performing animals is pretty much wrong in my books (circuses aren't allowed to have performing animals in the UK any more and this is basically a static circus). Quote
Kell Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Young mother thrown off bus for breastfeeding her 6-week old baby! I hope she sues because she'd win and that would be fired (which I hope he has done already!). Quote

Kell Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Watch this movie and win $10,000 -- if you dare Bring it on! I'll watch it from start to finish. Alone. In the dark. If the director will pay for my travel and accommodation to get there. And Back. And STILL pay the amount in full. I swaer - I'd do it! Quote
ned Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 For $10,000 i'd watch the movie with the evil spirit in the seat next to me. Twice. Quote
