We're having pork belly joint. I've never cooked one before so I had to invent: I rubbed salt and meat seasoning into it, drizzled it with some olive oil and glazed it with a couple of spoonfuls of honey... I hope it works :eek2:!

Sounds delicious, BookJumper!

I made a huge load of chilli in the slow cooker (it's been simmering all afternoon!) - am just about to go and sample it - yummy! :eek2:

I have two things cooking at the moment. A Chilli Con Carne, and a Turkey hot pot.

I couldn't decide which I wanted, so as each can carry over until tomorrow, I thought "What the heck?!" :P

They do create very different aromas though, so the kitchen smells quite funky right now.

I had some leftover chicken I grilled last night and a few corn chips with homemade salsa. Boring! I'm thinking about making popcorn any minute now :friends0:.

Last night, it was scallops in garlic butter with a side of fusili tuna pasta salad.

Tonight its parsley chicken with pasta.. a new recipe I'm trying. Let's hope it's good!

It was my first try making them so I was really happy they turned out ok.. I'm sure we'll be repeating that recipe more than once.

Glad they turned out so well, Bethany! How did you make them? I have a favorite recipe for scallops gratin that I got from the Barefoot Contessa (Ina Garten) and it's amazing! SO yummy :friends0:
