Might want to put your name in the title so we associate the thread to you.

Edit - Just so I don't seem stupid he's now updated it..

I see you appear to be a Michael Connelly fan. What's been your favorite book by him so far?

I would say it's probably The Concrete Blonde. It combines the usual tightly plotted storyline with courtroom drama as well written as i've seen. In addition to this there's a twist i certainly didn't see coming towards the end.

I feel Michael Connelly is able to breath such life into the characters he creates along with stories of real substance which stay with you long after you've read them.

LOL Ben - t'was me that added it, but I didn't do it to make you feel stupid. ;)

mister.g - I've not read any of the authors on your list - are they thriller/horror?

I'm considering trying a horror book but I'm not sure where to start!

  • 3 weeks later...

Having now increased my list of Michael Connelly books read i'd say my current favorite is split between The Poet and The Narrows.

The usual tight plotting and crackling dialogue combined with a truly diabolical villain put these in front of the others in my opinion.
