Thats not off topic at all - you're still talking bout reading in relation to your bad experiences, which is essentially what this thread is about. I can read books about anything, no matter what's going on in my life - but I do find books containing examples of what's missing in my life upset me greatly. Quote

Yeah, that's one baggage that tends to stay... I've been there (actually on both sides of the story), and can feel your pain. And you're still pretty much on topic. I mean, a painful memory, illness, an emotional distress... in this instance I'm sure they're fairly similar. Or .. oh, shoot! you all know what I mean. Quote
