frankie Posted December 3, 2009 Author Posted December 3, 2009 Oh ****, the books do sound really interesting!! Maybe I'll just need to find the right time and the right mood to start reading that Lestat again and I'll be fine. I'd definitely like to see if what you're saying is true, that Lestat would actually grow on me and I'd start to sympathise the dude! So far that seems highly unlikely! Quote

frankie Posted December 4, 2009 Author Posted December 4, 2009 I am so glad you liked Triptych. It was an awesome book. Look forward to you reading Fractured and Genisis. I was thinking about Triptych just last night and I thought that I should probably change it from 5/5 to 6/5, it was just so brilliant I'm looking forward to me reading Fractured and Genesis as well but the library hasn't ordered them yet and who knows if they ever will I might have to buy them myself. I think once you get past The Vampire Lestat you'll be flying. I found it a pretty tough read Ah but he's great! Have you seen Queen of the Damned with Stuart Townsend playing Lestat? The movie gives you a good overview of Lestat and Queen of the Damned......although you know how movies just aren't as good at telling the entire tale and a few things are changed, like the movie has Marius turning Lestat into a vampire when it was some scary man called Magnus. Things like that, but it's worth a look if you haven't yet seen it Quote

I haven't seen Queen of the Damned, I didn't even know they'd made other films than Interview with the Vampire. Books I've finished since my last post: - V Quote
