I just wish I hadn't read that review of The Blue Nowhere, now I have to add it in my TBR... and I was just getting good at actually reading something on my TBR, not just adding books!! :)

You won't be sorry you made this one last add! :)

I've got The Blue Nowhere on my TBR list Sleeping Doll was the other book that I have read by Jeffery Deaver.

Read it next! You'll love it!

Well I don't have any time to consider the actual adding to my TBR, I found it quite cheap on play.com and because I had 5 euros to spend on something there The Blue Nowhere made a clever choice

Frankie, you will love it! I think that it & The Broken Window (also by Jeffery Deaver) are books that everyone should read.

Thanks for the thought, Ceinwenn :) but I already wrote to the library to request the book. I shall wait and see what they are going to reply

That "delectable Dexter" that you came up with in book activity -thread was quite good! So, I went to brush my teeth just now and remembered you writing:

Another twist in the tale is that Dexter may have found

a very willing young pupil to carry on his hobby with.

... and oooh guess what I came up with!

Dexter delegating

! Funny, aye?

(Hm, that sounded so much funnier in my head than here when I see it written down  )

:D Aw poor Frankie! It is funny!

Perhaps it would sound better as

'Delegating Dexter' rather than 'Dexter delegating'

No?

Nice to hear your mind is so active when cleaning your teeth!

You are right, that does sound better and it was my initial thought, but I didn't know whether it was to be

"delegating" or "delegative", yet delegative doesn't even sound like a word and I didn't bother to check it up.

My English skills are kinda off today. The same thing happened earlier when I said that the Ripper was gory, and of course he should be because duh, sliced up women. Then you mentioned that well there's Dexter (so it doesn't have to be gory). I didn't really understand the reference to Dexter until I realised that you probably meant gory as in bloody while I meant gory as in horrid. Make sense? If not, forget that I said anything

Ahhh ... makes perfect sense now . I did consider gory to mean bloody, but now that I think about it that would make some of the Dexter books not gory at all, yet I would also say they were gory as in horrid! Does that make sense? I do hope so! :D

(What are we like!!)

I noticed you're reading The Historian, I'll be waiting for your review on it, it's on my TBR! :irked:

(Also, I have this faint memory of noticing you earlier reading some other book I've been wanting to read, please do update this thread of yours soon :smile2:)

Yes I know! I missed my broadband! Sorry! :) I will update it asap! I have two books to write my thoughts on which I managed to squeeze in but so far I'm enjoying The Historian, its quite intriguing, not fast paced per say, but its keeping me interested! :irked:

Good to hear! I've heard others say it's a slow read so I've already prepared myself for that. (And although I did imply you hurrying up, please take your time and don't feel pressured, you have more important things to do than satisfy my curiosity! [can I just say in my defence that I'm very giddy to have you back on the forum :welcomebcf:])
