I had to abandon the Cadfael book as some-one has requested it at the library and it must go back tomorrow :welcome:. This is the first time it's happened to me and I'm so annoyed

How long have you had it? Surely they can't make you give it back immediately unless you've had it a while..

That happened to me a little while ago, but as I didn`t have much left to read I was a bit naughty, and took the book back a couple of days late and paid the fine! :welcome: It was worth it though. :006:

Just back from holiday during which I read:-

Jean Plaidy - The Queen's Husband

Jodi Picoult - Handle with Care

Richard Montonari - Play Dead

Now half way through - Susanna Gregory - The Westminster Poisoner

Posted

Oh definately. I think the scene has been set for the next book with the ex- spymaster conspiring with Swaddell. I look forward to the next!!

How did you find Richard Montanari's Play Dead? I didn't think it was as good as the previous three to be honest, although I still enjoyed it. I'd love to hear what you think :readingtwo:

I liked it alot and couldn't put it done, although my favourite one so far is the Rosary Girls. I have Fallen Angels out from the library so that will be in the next week or so

Oh I'm glad you liked it :D. I thought The Rosary Girls was brilliant as well!

Just starting Richard Montanari - Broken Angels

This would have to be my favourite Montanari I've read so far, I hope you enjoy it too :D
