Can anyone recommend a good Authentic Italian cookbook?

I love Italian food and would like to cook some of the meals from scratch. I know, for example, the way a pizza is made in italy is different to pizzas you can get over here.:)

"The Silver Spoon" is the italian cookery bible which has been a bestseller there for 50 years! It literally covers everything you can think of! Be warned it is MASSIVE!

Other italian coockery books I have found good are Twelve by Tessa Kiros (tuscan food) and Antonio Carluccios Italia
