Yeah, me too. Only time I don't have a book on the go is if I've finished one at night and haven't bothered to open another before going to sleep.

If I'm reading part of a series (i.e. Harry Potter or recently the Twilight Saga) then I can't live without contining straight on to the next book.

I'm exactly the same - I read the entire Alex Rider series in one long weekend a few years ago!

Before I'm even done with a book, I usually have something already lined up to follow. But most of the time I read 3-4 books at once anyway so there's no gap.

I tend to go straight to the next one that's waiting, but I do usually have 2 or 3 on the go at the same time.... usually lying around in different rooms, so I'll pick up whatever's nearest

Yes, I do it all the time. I usually finish a book on the train, and still have a ways to go, so I pull the next one out of my bag. I often know when I'll be done and put the next one in there so I'll have it. If I am reading from my kindle it makes life easier, but that is not always the case.

I don't seem to need time between books.

Never have a break between books as I read for pleasure, book reviewing, my job and a bookgroup. Besides I would feel slightly disorientated without a book within my reach- that's just not natural...:D
