BrainFreeze Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Only once as far as I can remember and it was Sleepers - I did think the book was good but I think the great cast added to the film and there was just something...different, whereas the book wasn't as punchy (not the right word at all, but for want of a better one!) Bronwen Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 A lot of the time when I watch a movie after reading the book, I'm disappointed. But not with Stephen King's Dreamcatcher, that one was pretty good from what I remember. Quote

The film was pretty good though I agree Quote

Colin Jacobs Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Well Stephen Kings "Needfull Things" was not dark enough in the film. IT was spot on as was The Stand. I remember reading The Bodyguard and Dirty Harry in one sitting, but I think the books were of the film not vice versa Quote
Ben Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Lotr. And I know some of you might flame me for this. *Ducks to avoid flying objects*, but I think it's just mainly because I couldn't get into the books, and I thought the films were brilliant! Quote
lexiepiper Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I couldn't get into the books, and I thought the films were brilliant! I'm the same I've never read the books, but the films are brilliant Quote
Ben Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I'm the same I've never read the books, but the films are brilliant I must've tried to re-read the hobbit about four times. But I'll try again soon enough. Quote
