LibraryThing is positively evil... *laughs* I was sceptical but after reading this thread I decided to give it a go. That was about 2 hours ago and since then I have added 125 books and sorted them in all kind of tags

I'm using it to record the books I have read (well, those I wrote down or remember), whether I own them or not... It is nice to see my virtual library :)

But at the rate it is going I will soon outgrow the 200 limit and I'm not sure its worth paying for more.

Started using Library Thing a couple of months ago now. I love seeing my own little library on the scren. A bit of a nightmare going round the house trying to get all the numbers. but i'll get there.

if you mean the ISBN number, just search amazon for your book and you can copy paste the ISBN

I keep my listing in a large notebook and at the end of the year tally them up and see how many I've read- I've been doing this since 2000 and am up t0 184 books read not counting this year yet

I have a small notebook in which I have been keeping on and off a list of read books since I was around 13 years old... I'd forgotten about it but got it out again when I joined librarything last week. It was nice finding this record of books I'd read long ago :)
