pickle Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 All DFS adverts. Is it just me or have they ALWAYS got a sale on, all year round? They do but as i understand it by law they have to have products at full price at sometime in the year in order to call it a sale but it only has to be in one of their shops and only for a ltd amount of time. I hate them too btw..I even got a thing through the post from them today..straight in the recycling:lol: Quote
Book Nutter Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I don't mind the berocca performance add it dosen't have a bat song and it has great choreography . Quote
arewenearlythere Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Nobody plays games like that, lol. Me, my ex and my family will sit down playing games in frustration and lots of swearing . Now that would make for an entertaining wii advert Whatever happened to the amazing Halifax adverts? Quote
Weave Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 I love the advert for train travel with the plastic figures at London Zoo looking at the lions and they gasp and the Dad figure covers the eyes of the son figure I hate the 'Just for men' advert, I'm sorry, I seriously doubt that Just for men makes you so super cool that you in fact ~ Meet a woman Get a job Need more ties Also if you use 'Just for men', according to the advert you have really annoying daughters who seem to be ruling you (and are badly dubbed!) Quote
Weave Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 I'm so glad to hera that someone else thinks these are disturbing little ads. They are creepy. Oh yeah there is something creepy about those jeans and the man with the torch looking at the jeans ~ creepy denim! Quote
pickle Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 (edited) I love the new advert for Cream Eggs and load of mouse traps very funny and messy Edited March 25, 2010 by pickle Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 I hate the advert for some kind of life insurance, where the families are sitting around saying how pleased they are that they were left money At one point the people are smiling as they say something about the kids being pleased that grandad had left them some money It seems very insensitive to me. Coffin Nail Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 Chrissy, what's happened? Have a lie down or summat. You're clearly not well. I have the number of a really good therapist. Quote
Chrissy Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 I think it's the radio adverts that have tipped the balance for me. Sorry Quote
ned Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 I hate that one where you have to guess which safe the money is in. I have followed it every time the advert came on even though i know where it is going to be Quote
Karsa Orlong Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 I don't mind the Go Compare ads. Should I go and hide somewhere? Quote
Vladd Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Annoying as they are the go compare Ads work after all how many of you now know the websites name? Quote
Cookie Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 I really dislike the one with the dancing money because of the little orphan Annie song....hate that song! Quote
Mia Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 I think the most consistently funny ads recently are the Specsavers ones. I like the one with the crop circles and the one with the pensioners on the rollercoaster. But the new one is pretty clever, as it manages to take the mickey out of the Lynx adverts at the same time! Quote
ned Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 That is a good one Mia I like the new Reebok one. I think the men will agree with me Quote
Mia Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 I haven't seen that one... Does it by any chance involve scantily-clad ladies? Quote
ned Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Yep in short shorts It is advertising a new trainer that tones the legs and bum as you walk, or something like that. I wasn't really listening Quote

Eck Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 The Halifax ones do my head in! Ice Ice baby arghhhhhhh. The visa one currently showing is pretty good just for the pixies soundtrack. Quote
arewenearlythere Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I haven't seen this Google advert on UK TV but I love it! Quote
