Anna Faversham Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 I'm an author as well as a reader (of course!) so I'm just letting you know that my latest book is available from Amazon for 0.99 from today, 18th September, until 24th September. This is what it's about: Ghosts? What ghosts? I can’t see any? That’s how it started for me and I still haven’t seen any but I have seen people see them. Were there ghosts in my Flint Cottage built in 1843? If so, why were they there? From an Amazon #1 Time Travel Romance author comes the tale of Ellie who dismisses the gossip – ghosts and disappearing people – what nonsense. The neighbours are friendly, if a little strange and the rent is exceptionally cheap. The dishy vicar declares himself willing to help her, if necessary, day or night. Night? And then there’s the warning about a Midnight Train. Ghosts. Disappearing people? Would you ignore it? 0.99 until September 24th on Amazon and also available on Kindle Unlimited Quote
KEV67 Posted October 27, 2025 Posted October 27, 2025 I have ordered a copy. I have a few other books on my TBR, so it will take me several months to get to. If I like it I will probably tell you, but if I don't I will probably keep quiet. Quote
KEV67 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I finished it last night. It was alright, actually. The only thing is that while I was reading the first contact with the ghosts in bed, one of my wardrobe doors was opening by itself. I had to get out of bed to close it. I wouldn't normally read a book like that, because the cover would make me think it was romantic fiction. It is quite a cross genre novel. It is also one of the most Christian fictional books I have read. The Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde was pretty Christian. I read Paradise Lost a year or so ago, which was very Christian, but I had difficulty understanding much of that. Quote
