Newly registered, so hello everybody.

avid reader of all types Have Kindle for general use but treasure my collection of books paper and hard back which I have accumulated over many years. Hopefully someone out there has the same strange preferences relating to authors.

thank you for your comments, Whilst I prefer  paper I find that my vision lets me down in poor light and Kindle of course has it's own light. I also find, at times, my favourite books on sale and snap them up when available.

Hi Briber, welcome to the forum! Hopefully you've already discovered that we have pretty wide-ranging tastes in books on this forum . What are your preferences? You said you read all types, so I'm guessing maybe you have a preferred style of writing, rather than a preferred genre?

:welcome: The Kindle is so good for carrying around loads of books at a time, for instance, good to take on holiday. Also the font can be made bigger. But there's nothing like a paperback or hardback for relaxing in the evenings.

Yes, but there's nothing like a waterproof Kindle for reading in the bath!
