KEV67 Posted March 6, 2024 Posted March 6, 2024 I was passing a graveyard in Tbilisi, so I had a look around. I was impressed by the pictures on the tombstones. I do not know how they transferred the images, but they did a really good job at catching the person's appearance as well as personality. Quote
KEV67 Posted March 6, 2024 Author Posted March 6, 2024 I preferred the black and white pictures. Some of them have Russian writing. Quote
KEV67 Posted March 6, 2024 Author Posted March 6, 2024 And some have Georgian writing on them. The Georgian language has its own alphabet. 1 Quote

muggle not Posted July 30 Posted July 30 (edited) Last year my Granddaughter visited the graveyard of Washington Irving, author of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. These are a couple of the photos she took. if you can enlarge the photos you will get a nicer photo. The one photo is of the Irving family Plot. Edited July 30 by muggle not 1 Quote

It's nice that the locals have taken it on themselves to look after the plots. 1 Quote
