KAY
Is there anyone who not only buys books to read but buys collectors additions hardbacks with gorgeous covers. I loved "shadows of the wind " and "the kite runner" so much that when i discovered their bound hard back version or variation in covers i had to buy them. They look quite old fashioned and special. they have a bookshelf all to themselves. If i like a book i also tend to buy other variations on the front covers. Liz
I have a couple of Discworld books which are from a special Unseen University collection. They have lovely looking covers and there are beautiful drawings of maps of the Disc in them.
princessponti
I bought the Northern Lights trilogy in the beautiful collectors editions - I had to buy all three so that they would match, even though I've never read any of Phillip Pullmans books and don't know if I'll like them!!! Liz
NiceguyEddie - Was that the special boxed edition of Making Money? I bought one of those with the gold glitter on the cover. It looks very nice on my shelf.
Icecream
I have a few folio books, and I have purposely bought Harry Potter adult hardbacks, but I do not have any collectors editions.
