This is the 24th John Rebus book and it's a good one. The plot is convoluted and I found some of the unfamiliar characters difficult to follow but all in all it's a great romp around the now legendary Rebus. My other favourite character makes an appearance but I can't tell you what happens to him or it'll spoil the plot.

Rebus is in the dock.

My father is now enjoying it and it's the first Rebus that he's read.
