Shs Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Greetings everyone! Living in the frosty north I've always had a fascination for warmer climates, especially the tropics and the lifestyle/literature from these places. Prime example being Hemingway and Cuba. I would appreciate if anybody could recommend writers/books etc. that embraces the tropics and are able to take me there when I`m surrounded by winter. Thanks a lot! Quote
Hayley Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 This post made me realise that I usually read books set in cold places, I'm finding it really hard to think of books set in warm climates! I'm sure other people will be able to think of some but in the mean time I'm going to direct you to Talisman's 'Around the World' book challenge thread because there are some fantastic sounding books on there from loads of warm countries (although I haven't read them, so can't personally recommend!): June's Around the World Book Challenge - Page 9 - Reading Challenges - Book Club Forum Quote
