Lo and behold it is finished.... I slightly misread the pattern and got the sides and middle wrong, hence the long bits at the sides and in the middle, and I ran out of one colour so had to use my own (the lilac), it looks better as a card.

I have just completed my first Very Hard Kurosu (noughts and crosses puzzle). Twelve squares by twelve squares.

Yes now the nights are drawing in it feels like time to start knitting and crocheting doesn't it!  I've crocheted a couple of worry worms, I just need to sew the eyes on. I found a Youtube video by a nice lady and took a pic of the pattern which is very simple, and I'm finding it a good way of getting back into crocheting, and also using up odd bits of wool.

And here it is, for the eyes I used a couple of beads from a bracelet that had snapped, they're probably a bit too far apart but overall I'm happy with it.

I have now finished my scarf and it’s a dog’s breakfast of mistakes so I’m not photographing it let alone posting it, but it is finished. Can’t decide what to do next.

I'm sure once you've washed and blocked it most of the mistakes will disappear.  Mine always do and I have loads.
