Blindness

Jose Saramago wrote a book years ago, that book is eerily like  what is happening worldwide right now.

Difference being, the contagion is an epidemic of blindness.

 

Lockdown, curfew, eventually mental hospitals being used to house social lepers, or the blind.

 

Excellent novel, eerily relevant to today.

I have that novel, I'll move it up the TBR

It is a great novel. 

Very unusual style of writing as he doesn't put quotes around speech of the characters.
