karen.d
I'm back from my holiday and I finished 'Little Women' by Louisa May Alcott. This was one of my favourite books, but having re-read it, it's not as good as I remembered it to be. It's a charming story, but I didn't like some of the archaic thoughts on women, although I suppose this is a book of its time. Then, having realized that I was 1 book from my 30 book challenge this year, I decided to re-read 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' by Lewis Carroll. I read this in about an hour, because it's only 149 pages, but I really enjoyed it. Some of it makes absolutely no sense at all, but I enjoyed it because it's such a fun read. I'm tempted to start another book, but, as I don't like starting the new year in the middle of a book, then I'll wait for a few days. I hope you've had a great reading year and here's to more great reads in 2019!

Madeleine
For some reason I've decided to make Little women my next read, I've only read an abridged version before , years ago.
