Inver Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 This reading challenge will be on going and I may add or change the list as I think of others to add or take away. I feel this won't be completed in the year hence the on going part... I look forward to trying to find books related to the list. Quote

chaliepud Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Same one as I'm doing Diane, good luck! Quote
frankie Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 This looks like a lot of fun, Diane! Looking forward to seeing which books you will pick for the challenge! Quote
poppyshake Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Good luck with this challenge Diane Looks good and not too specific .. it gives you a lot of leeway Quote
Inver Posted January 28, 2017 Author Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) Same one as I'm doing Diane, good luck! I've added another 4 Hayley....I like things to be a round number. I pinched it from you, but I might change things though if I find other categories. Edited January 28, 2017 by Inver Quote
chesilbeach Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Hope you have fun with the challenge Diane. Just think, if all the books you read this year fit in with one of the categories, you'll have reached your 30 book target! Quote

Ah, I hadn't noticed as I was looking at it on my phone and for some reason your font shows as italics on there so I can only read it properly with my glasses on and obviously can't have had them to hand. I'll add the exra 4 to mine if you don't mind, they look fun! Quote
willoyd Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Is this based on the Popsugar annual challenges? These categories all look very familiar - many of the have featured in the past couple of years. Quote
Madeleine Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 I've been doing this challenge on another book forum, only managed about half of them last year though. Quote
Inver Posted February 16, 2017 Author Posted February 16, 2017 Hoorah...managed 3 so far, but I'm sure it will get more difficult. Quote
chesilbeach Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Well done. Don't forget, you can always ask us all if you need help with suggestions ... I'm sure we can come up with some good uns! Quote
Inver Posted February 16, 2017 Author Posted February 16, 2017 Thanks Claire. Having already added to the list I might even change some I don't think I'll manage to do if I think of something else for an idea. Quote
dragonmyst Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 If I am not visiting anywhere this year, what should I do about the book set at a place you will be visiting this year? Quote
Inver Posted March 12, 2017 Author Posted March 12, 2017 If I am not visiting anywhere this year, what should I do about the book set at a place you will be visiting this year? Doubt if I will do that one.....I'm not being strict with this, if I think of something else to substitute with I will. Quote
Inver Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 I have the same title written twice, but there is the potential there to move it to another category if I get around to reading another book that would fit in. Quote
Inver Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 A book by someone older than you maybe? Thanks, I'll keep that in mind... Quote
Inver Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 (edited) Other alternative ideas for challenge titles A flower in the title A food in the title A building in the title A family member in the title A garden in the title A Christmas read Edited March 22, 2017 by Inver Quote

Inver Posted July 15, 2017 Author Posted July 15, 2017 Managed to add another to title to fill in a gap...slowly slowly. Quote
Inver Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 This challenge won't be completed this year...definitely an 'ongoing' one. Quote
Inver Posted September 14, 2017 Author Posted September 14, 2017 That is good, managed to add two more books to the list in September....one for someone's name in title and female author. Quote
Inver Posted January 14, 2018 Author Posted January 14, 2018 (edited) I'm not starting this again for 2018. I've decided I will just keep adding to it if and when I read something that fits in. First one added for 2018 was for the café/restaurant theme. Edited January 14, 2018 by Inver Quote
