supergran71
Well done to Andy Murray for beating Rafa Nadal. Beat him soundly too, in 4 sets. Wonder how he will get on tonight playing Federer in the final?
Kate
It would be good to see a Brit win in tennis for once
Inver
Don't you mean a Scot....lol:lol: It would be great wouldn't it, no Brit has won since Fred Perry they said.

Roland Butter
A brave effort by the (ahem) Scottish tennis player Andy Murray. Realistically, beating Nadal and Federer on consecutive days was always going to be a big ask, but he'll be a better player for the experience, that's for sure. Won't be too long before he wins a big one, I'd think. And at least he isn't "Tiger" Tim - but don't get me started on that!
Inver
Mmmmm.....yes he is back to being Scottish then....lol. It was a big task to ask after beating Nadal, but a brave effort and you can be assured he will be back.

Inver
On a winning streak again......go Andy :D6-4 6-2 6-2 this morning in the Ozzie open;)
Ben
I'm sorry right, but I don't like Andy Murry. He says he is Scottish when he's winning and British when he's losing. What kind of attitude is that? Don't get me wrong I can watch him play and silently hope he wins.
Inver
Did anyone see the womens tennis this morning? What a match, watched the last set....was great tennis. Was so glad she Dokic managed to complete the game after going over on her ankle
Ahsilet
Since Ivanovic lost in the third round I stopped watching the women's matches of the Australian Open. I have been rooting for Rafael Nadal now. He has a major chance of winning it this year. He's been winning all his matches in three sets. Ahsilet
The match between Rafael and Fernando was intense. Here in the central part of the US the match was on in the early hours of the morning. I was almost late for school watching it. It was finally over around 8:15 AM.
Inver
I didn't watch it all only about the last hour, but it was intense...would have been a great final, but having said that don't know it Nadal will managea to beat Federer the way he is plaing at the moment and putting everyone out in 3 sets!! Ophelia
These two must be super-human! Especially Nadal who had a massive five-set match just a day or two ago and with the strength-sapping heat, too, it'd be as much as I could do to walk onto court! Rawr
Managed to catch the last set, was brilliant. I kinda feel sorry for Federer though, but then again he's had more than his fair share of sucesses!
Ahsilet
I woke up at 2:30 AM US central time to watch the match between Rafael and Roger. Though I enjoyed the match, it wasn't as exciting and intense as the match between Rafael and Fernando was. The match with Roger, I found myself muting the TV and read a book between the second to the fourth set. I can't wait for the French Open. Nadal is sick on clay courts. Ben
Nadal is in a league of his own at the moment.
