TheActOfPoetryIsARebelAct
To one and all, greetings, and some blue lemon sherbets for everyone here tonight. I'm new. I hope you like the sweets - it's all I could think of bringing with me at short notice. Perhaps I should indeed have planned it better! My name is Sean. A friend calls me Michael. Someone else calls me Finbarr. I just know I like blue lemon sherbets! Reading Neil Gaiman's 'American Gods' at the moment. Arrived to the first page without an expectation - rewarded ten-fold. My first read of his work; won't be my last. Impossible to imagine what awaits... Sean.
poppy
Welcome Sean 'American Gods' is one of the few Gaiman books I haven't read but I'm a huge fan of his others. I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here.

Athena
Hey Sean, welcome here . I haven't read American Gods, but I read Coraline (Dutch translation), The Ocean at the End of the Lane and Fortunately, the Milk... by Neil Gaiman and I really liked those three, they were very good. I have The Graveyard Book, Good Omens and De Bende van Anansi (Dutch translation, Anansi Boys in original English) on my shelves yet to read. I hope you like it here.
