The actual story/poem is quite short but there is tons of introduction/preface type stuff at the beginning and bibliography and appendix at the end! I used to work in the careers department of a sixth form college and each year we would order university prospectuses for the students. My boss and I would spend a pleasant day sorting them out - at the same time admiring the covers and sampling their fine bouquets! Think the other staff thought we were mad! It did get quite exciting at the end so considering it was completly out of my comfort zone in regards to reading material I was pleasently suprised by it.
