Maureen Posted November 13, 2005 Author Posted November 13, 2005 Started "Mouth to Mouth" by Micheal Kimball. I am in the first chapter and can feel that someone is going to die soon............ I am now a bit more than half way through, knee deep in bodies....and still counting. (Puts Rambo to shame!) You know who the killer is....the suspense is how he is going to kill the next victim.... I am quite enjoying it though........ Quote
Maureen Posted November 16, 2005 Author Posted November 16, 2005 As my list is bare at the moment - but will have some new titles soon - I decided to explore my bookcase...and see what pops out......................I was rewarded with Robin Cook's Acceptable Risk. Any one read that? what do you think? Quote

Maureen Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 I am halfway through Gerald's game..... Quote
Maureen Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 The dog thing is rather gruesome....more so because it could really happen...and the self relevation of the wife is interesting...(the thing with the glass of water had me keeping my fingers crossed), but I am waiting for something more to happen.......I hope she comes out of the blasted room soon. Kell Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I was constantly impressed by her ingenuity - I think King was perhaps testing himself with this one. Have you read Dolores Clayborne at all? It has veiled references to Gerald's Game in it... Quote
Maureen Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 nope I haven't. Is it a Stephen King one as well? Quote
Kell Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Yes it is - it was made into a movie starring Kathy Bates & Jenifer Jason Leigh. Not bad, but not as good as the book. It also involves something happenning during that fateful eclipse... Quote
Michelle Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Ah yes.. Dolores Clayborne was a good one. Maureen, are you becoming a King fan? Quote
Maureen Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 Don't know yet...have only read a book and a half so far.....much depends how this one turns out I expect.... Quote
Maureen Posted December 8, 2005 Author Posted December 8, 2005 Have finished my second King book, and have not yet made up my mind fully about this author that everyone seems to like so much. Quote
