Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

I see this book mentioned around this board already. I've watched the movie yesterday and I liked it.. mostly. Unfortunately it's targeting a much younger audience . Is the book targeting the same audience?

The book can be read by all ages though the target is older readers because of the content.  It's not a light read and it is enjoyable.

I read it quite a few years ago and it has a storyline for both young and old albeit simplistic. I enjoyed it when I read it, I haven't seen the film, The book is mostly seen from a child's point of view and is more about his perceptions of the world.

Conditioned Behaviour is the major theme
