The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle (I loved this book when I was a child. In Dutch it's called 'Rupsje Nooit-Genoeg'  ('Caterpillar Never-Enough').

loved the book too! Remember reading it to my cousin when he was a toddler. He is nearly 20 now!!
