Mia Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Just wanted to say that I really liked the last episode. Hiro and Ando are a great double act. Loved the bit where Hiro goes back to the hire car and doesn't know how to drive it, so looks up the instructions but they're in English... and the ones we get are in Japanese half the time! Quote
Michelle Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 I missed last weeks.. I was relying on Sky+ to grab it for me, but it was broken when we came back! My friend's hubby was telling me this evening that I should stick with it. Quote
Mia Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Yeah, it was a really good episode Michelle (sorry!). It was much faster moving, funnier and more interesting. Apparently the next episode is supposed to be when it really gets going. I would definitely stick with it a while longer - can you imagine if you'd given up on Lost? I know you wouldn't, but some people did. They must be kicking themselves now! Quote
Michelle Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Can someone give me the highlights.. or will I be able to pick it up ok this Wed? Quote
Mia Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 For anyone who's missed some of this programme or given up on it and wishes they hadn't... BBC2 is running a "Heroes Catch-Up" weekend! Tonight they are showing 6 episodes in a row, then 3 tomorrow! Quote
Nici Posted April 22, 2008 Author Posted April 22, 2008 For anyone who hasn't seen the trailers, Heroes is back on Thursday 9pm BBC2. Quote
Mia Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 Hurrah! I love this programme - I'm so excited it's back! Quote
Karen1 Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 Don't get too excited the first half of this season is a little iffy and don't forget because of the writer's strike it's only 11 episodes long. Quote
Weave Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 I am sooooo looking forward to the new series!!! Peter Petrelli rules!!!! Quote
Weave Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 I hear you Burghead Lass! it is going to be so great Quote
Mia Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I enjoyed last night's episode. Yes, it was perhaps a little slow, but it was kind of a "catch up", basically setting the scene for most of the main characters after the events of the last season finale. The new characters look interesting, Hiro was funny as usual (I love Hiro!), but I wasn't exactly shocked to see that Nathan and Peter Petrelli are alive . Looking forward to the next one! Quote
Weave Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I enjoyed it too, it was slow (as Mia pointed out) but you found out what was happening with everyone (I said that there like I know them ). I have to admit the person who is worse than Sylar that Molly dreams about, sounds a bit scary. Hiro was the best part of the episode one and in true Heroes style, the first episode and I bet we all have questions, like how in the heck did Peter end up in Cork!, Nathan, why the beard? (which is not a serious question but it is bugging me) and Matt finally made detective - yay! Quote
Mia Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Oops, I must not have been paying attention properly, as I assumed the pictures Molly was drawing were of Sylar (who gives me the creeps just to look at him, BTW!). Quote
K1nS Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Whats everyones oppinions on this show? I really enjoyed the first season and was wanting more, but when season 2 came out I was really disappointed I must say, I watched the first ep. then gave up. Quote
Michelle Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 K1nS, could you please search before starting new threads, as this will save the mod team having to merge them. Thank you. Quote
Raven Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Heroes: Reborn - First Full Length Trailer. Looks promising, let's hope they have learned the lessons of what didn't work from series 2, 3 & 4. Quote
Madeleine Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Looks like this is starting again soon - I enjoyed the first show and then gave up during the second series, I'm not going to watch the new version, but at least the original series gave us the lovely Santiago Cabrera! I think it ran it's course the first time. Quote
Raven Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 It's not going any further, either. Season 2 of Reborn has been quietly dropped. Quote
Madeleine Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 That's interesting, Raven, sounds like it didn't do so well then. Quote
Raven Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Saw the first part of Heroes: Reborn on 5 Star last night; more of the same really, but although it wasn't anything that special I quite enjoyed it. If it stays in this gear, however, it will be easy to see what it was dropped. Quote
