SteffieB Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Wow, that website's great -- had to bookmark it. But, er, what's Digestive Bisc't (under the What's in your cupboard? category)? Maybe baking soda? Sorry, I know this is an old thread, but curious:-) Quote
Kell Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 But, er, what's Digestive Bisc't (under the What's in your cupboard? category)? Here you go - THIS is all about Digestive Biscuits. Quote
SteffieB Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Here you go - THIS is all about Digestive Biscuits. Ha! Thanks, Kell -- I never would have figured this out. Quote
Freewheeling Andy Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Ha! The eternal US/UK biscuit confusion. What UK calls biscuits the US calls cookies. What the US calls biscuits the UK would call something a bit like scones, but more bready. Telling someone from the UK that people eat Biscuits and gravy, or even have biscuits with their KFC, would cause deep bemusement. Quote
