  1. Eerily beautiful.
  2. Bargains ! Enjoy your new books too ! I was especially pleased to find the Hildegarde Withers book ( it`s listed as ` acceptable` condition for around £8, but it`s been out of print for so long, I`m just happy to find a copy - plus, the Kindle version would be around £7 anyway, and I have the rest of the series as proper books... )
  3. Let`s hope so. It was out of stock yesterday when I ordered it, so I`m thinking that plenty of people had the same thought; when I went through my newspaper clutter pile at the end of 2014, I found a couple of articles I`d ripped out about her, and it still sounded good, so I went ahead and ordered. Have you got your mitts on the book yet ?
  4. Thanks Julie !
  5. Congrats on your new books ! Ooh, The Lost Gospel sounds good. But buying less than 10 books ?? Amateur.

  15. Good Luck with your 2015 reads ! I`m quite tempted by those Persephone books.
  16. Best of luck with your 2015 reads ! I like the look of the Pema Chodron book.
  17. Ooh, I loved The Nine Tailors too . I like the look of the `new` Maigrets, but just can`t see myself buying them ( if I buy one, I`ll want to buy them all... ). Best of luck with your 2015 reads !
  18. Lots of goodies there ; best of luck with all your reading in 2015 !
  19. Ooh, good luck ! Love all the pretty graphics, so inspiring. Good Luck with all your reading ; I especially like the look of your American Lit list ( I`ve only recently heard of Sinclair Lewis, I see Main Street is one of your books to read ).
  20. Wow, lots of great reads there ! And alphabetized !! Mine are just listed in areas of dumpage around the house. Of your wish list, I really enjoyed Edmund Crispin`s The Moving Toyshop ( I`ve read all of his Gervase Fenn books, liked them all except the last one ) and Jasper Fforde is one of my favourite writers. Happy Reading in 2015 !
  21. Thank you ! And you too.
  22. Aw, thank you - you too. How many are you hoping for next year then ?
  23. Thank you ! The diningroom table is covered in books, I have a book pile on my bedroom floor, more books on a bedroom table, top of the hallway shoecupboard... I hope you have a good reading year too.
  24. Thank you ! At this stage, it`s just a cut-and-paste job ( I`ve been keeping up to date with my lists throughout the year ). It did originally take me aaaages, `cos I was having to go through every room to jot down all those books. Oh, and I`m still updating my wish list ; I have a big mound of newspaper pages with book recommendations beside the PC monitor ( I rip stuff out of papers throughout the year, and haven`t kept up with Kimpling those. )
